Pippa wasn't just our cat - he was the inspiration behind everything Pippa's Pawz has become.
Back in 2011, a straight tabby, began appearing outside our kitchen window windows every evening. We started leaving food out for him, and before long he became a regular visitor. At the time, he was living underneath our old wooden deck, which was scheduled to be replaced.
Knowing we couldn't leave him there, we borrowed a humane trap from a local rescue organization. After carefully trapping him, we brought him to a vet, veterinarian, where he was examined, treated, and stayed for about a week while I helped him become comfortable around people.
The day we brought him home, changed our lives forever.
From the beginning, Pippa showed us nothing but love. He greeted us at the door, curled up beside us every night, and had a way of making every bad day seem a little better. His gentle personality and unconditional affection quickly made him the heart of our family.
Although we rescued Pippa, the truth is…
He rescued us.
Pippa spent 14 wonderful years, filling our home with happiness, laughter, and love before we lost him sadly to cancer.
His legacy continues through Pippa's Pawz.
Every design we create celebrates a special bond between people and their cats, while helping support, local shelters and cat rescue organizations so more cats can hopefully find the loving homes they deserve.
